Starting in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on March 31, Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band will embark on an arena tour of the United States.

The tour is called "Land of Hope and Dreams", named after a song he wrote in 1999.

"We live in dark, troubled times, but fear not - the cavalry is coming!" Bruce Springsteen said in a statement on his website.

Springsteen played in Minnesota on January 30 after releasing a protest song, "Streets of Minneapolis." He wrote the song in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, who were shot and killed by federal law enforcement in connection with the presence of ICE agents in the state.

The US tour includes 20 concerts in Oregon, California, Arizona, Texas and Illinois, among others. On April 20, Springsteen will play at his home stadium in Newark, New Jersey. The tour concludes in Washington on May 27.
