The box also includes a previously unreleased version of "Born in the USA", recorded in April 1982 with only Max Weinberg and Garry Tallent from The E Street Band present, writes Rolling Stone.
The home-recorded, solo-acoustic songs that became the album "Nebraska" were initially intended as demos for The E Street Band. Most of the songs were also recorded by the band in a New York studio in 1982, but have not been heard since then.
Springsteen himself has long denied that there is an electric version of the songs in storage, but has now changed his mind on the matter.
"Nebraska '82: Expanded Edition" will be released on October 17, a week before the Springsteen biography "Deliver me from nowhere" has its cinema premiere.
The film, directed by Scott Cooper, portrays Springsteen's creative journey during the "Nebraska" period. Jeremy Allen White plays Springsteen and Jeremy Strong plays the role of producer Jon Landau.
