Bronze to Sweden in Bocuse d'Or

Chef Gustav Leonhardt and his team brought home the third place to Sweden in the prestigious chef competition Bocuse d'Or in Lyon.

“We are proud of our effort in this year's Bocuse d'Or. The level has been extremely high and we have really been able to show what Swedish gastronomy stands for. That we also get to take home a bronze statue is an incredible honor and a proof of the hard work and the passion that our team has put in” says Leonhardt in a press release.

Tommy Myllymäki, president of Bocuse d'Or Sweden, says that Leonhardt and the Swedish team have "shown what is possible by combining Swedish culinary craftsmanship with innovative thinking".

"Their achievement is an outstanding performance that will inspire the entire Swedish restaurant industry", continues Myllymäki.

In March, Leonhardt took silver when the European final of Bocuse d'Or was decided in Trondheim.

Bocuse d'Or is the world's most prestigious gastronomic competition with 65 countries participating globally.
