The 44-year-old artist has officially retired from music. But on Friday, a previously unknown Britney song suddenly appeared on Spotify: "She'll Never Be Me," recorded in connection with the release of "Britney" in 2001.
Spears wrote the song with her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake and producers Bradley Daymon and Alex Greggs.
More previously unreleased songs are also promised on the anniversary album "Britney (25th anniversary edition)," which will be released on November 6. They include "Right now (taste the victory)," from the star's 2002 Pepsi commercial.
