“Lineage” is Raye's first role in a scripted film, although she previously played herself in an episode of the Netflix series “Black Rabbit.”
In addition to Raye, the film stars French actors Isabelle Huppert, Dali Benssalah and Adam Bessa.
Filming for “Lineage” begins in London in early August.
