The UK's central bank, the Bank of England, is leaving the interest rate unchanged at 4.75 percent. This was also in line with what the analysts had expected.
Three of the bank's members voted to lower, while six wanted to leave it unchanged.
When and if the interest rate will be lowered in 2025 cannot be said, according to the British central bank chief Andrew Bailey.
