United Kingdom is contributing with fighter jets to the Nato mobilization in Poland that follows last week's incident where Russian drones violated Polish airspace.

”British fighter jets will carry out air defense maneuvers over Poland to counter airborne threats from Russia”, the British Ministry of Defence announces.

France, Germany and Denmark have also announced that they will send fighter jets to Poland. Sweden's Minister of Defence Pål Jonson (The Moderate Party) has stated that Sweden is participating in the ”process of enhanced presence along Nato's eastern flank”.

After the violation on Wednesday in Poland, Romania reported on Saturday a new incident where a Russian drone violated Romanian airspace in connection with an attack in Ukraine.

Russia has denied violating Polish airspace.
