New British Defence Secretary Wes Streeting and his German counterpart Boris Pistorius will meet digitally on Tuesday afternoon for another meeting within the so-called Ramstein Group - the Contact Group for the Defence of Ukraine. Also taking part are NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Ukraine's new Defence Minister Yevheniy Chmara and US Deputy Secretary of Defense Elbridge Colby.
Ahead of the meeting, Britain is promising support worth the equivalent of 1.3 billion Swedish kronor for Ukraine's air defences ahead of the winter, including more Patriot missiles.
“We stand side by side with Ukraine until they win,” Streeting said in a press release.
