Brent oil tops $100 a barrel for first time since May

Since the beginning of July, when oil cost around $70 per barrel, the price has gradually risen and is now reaching its highest level in several months.

The surge comes after the Iran-backed Houthi movement carried out attacks on two Saudi tankers, prompting President Donald Trump to issue new threats against Iran and say it should be held accountable for the attacks.
