”I look forward to coming back to the team and contributing with my energy and my leadership to help us aim for another Swedish Championship gold”, he says in a statement to Luleå's website.

The Canadian, who has signed a contract for the coming season, is thus clear for his fifth season in Luleå after previously having done three seasons in Växjö. He has won Swedish Championship gold with both clubs.

Brendan Shinnimin scored 16 goals and 32 points in 47 regular season matches last season and accounted for an additional 12 points, of which 7 goals, on Luleå's way to the Swedish Championship gold in the playoffs.

Brendan Shinnimin will join the team after the national team break in November.
