Shinnimin scored a total of 161 points during his five seasons in Luleå, but the other day it was announced that he was leaving the club.
The 35-year-old forward, who has won Swedish championships with both Luleå and Växjö, will remain in Sweden, however. He has signed a one-year contract with Linköping.
"Linköping is a great city with a great passion for ice hockey that grows more and more every season," the Canadian said on his new club's website.
