Lula da Silva has been discharged from the hospital, after undergoing a second skull operation in a short time.
It was on Monday that a bleeding inside the head was discovered on the Brazilian president, whereupon he was operated on urgently.
The bleeding is believed to have been a consequence of the fall accident Lula was involved in in October.
I'm here in one piece... on my way home, says the 79-year-old left-wing leader at a press conference before leaving the hospital in São Paulo.
