The former Brazilian football player Jair da Costa is dead, 84 years old.
He was involved in taking the World Championship gold in football for Brazil in 1962, as a reserve who did not get to play. But most remembered is da Costa for deciding the European Cup final in 1964 for Italian Inter and also contributing to the European Cup title the year before.
Additionally, he was involved in taking four Serie A titles.
"A right midfielder who was phenomenal at dribbling, he won everything with Grande Inter", writes the Italian club on social media.
