Brazil has had a bit of a struggle in the group stage of the South American Championship but is now advancing to the quarterfinals after 1–1 against Colombia, who won the group.
Brazil took the lead as early as 12 minutes into the match through Barcelona striker Raphinha. Colombia equalized in stoppage time in the first half through Daniel Muñoz.
Brazil will face Uruguay and Colombia will take on Panama in the quarterfinals.
