Bravida writes in a press release that it does not find any evidence "for the allegations that Örnsköldsvik Municipality made public yesterday", and that Bravida "is also investigating further legal actions to ensure compensation for the damage caused to the company and its shareholders".

Örnsköldsvik accuses Bravida of having overcharged the municipality and municipal companies by a total value of 8.9 million kronor, and has reported the company to the police.

Last week, Region Skåne demanded 11.4 million kronor back from Bravida after an extended audit revealed that the company's overcharging had been more extensive than previously known. Last year, it was revealed that Bravida had padded its invoices to Region Skåne by over two million kronor, which led to three executives at the company being prosecuted for gross fraud.
