He was born in Hungary but lived in Paris and became known for his nocturnal images from the French capital. A hundred of Brassaï's photographs will be exhibited next year at the Modern Museum, from March 28 to October 4.
The museum will also show the first solo exhibition since 1960 with Anna Casparsson, who embroidered grand motifs inspired by classical fairy tales, biblical stories and musical works.
The year will also begin with Karol Radziszewski's "The classroom", January 31, where it's about hidden queer histories and iconic queer figures that are shown integrated into a Polish classroom in the 1990s.
