The sun was shining, the home field was well packed, and on the other side stood a team that Dif had beaten in six straight Allsvenskan matches. It looked set to be a nice end to the spring season for Djurgården.
Instead, the seventh-placed team was booed off at the final whistle.
"It's an incredible disappointment that we go out and end the spring season with such a performance," Dif striker Kristian Lien told TV4 Play.
Mads Kristian Hansen opened the scoring for BP in the 23rd minute of the match. Djurgården equalized 1–1 just five minutes later through Mikael Andersson.
But Simon Strand would have the final word. After a corner, the defense cut in and it became 2–1.
