A boy under 15 years old is suspected of attempted murder since a woman was found injured in a residence in central Malmö on Friday.
The alarm came in at 19.01 and shortly thereafter the boy was arrested.
It went quietly, says the police's press spokesperson Patric Fors about the arrest.
The boy has been questioned and handed over to social authorities.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance and her condition is assessed as serious.
The woman is still in hospital but we have been able to question her about the incident.
The two individuals have been acquainted with each other previously. The police's understanding is that no other person is involved in the incident.
