A boy under 15 years old was subjected to aggravated assault in Strängnäs on Saturday evening. Five men in their 20s were later arrested at a nearby pub, suspected of the assault.
The police received an alarm about a brawl in central Strängnäs at 22.37. Several patrols were sent to the area, and the boy was found injured outdoors.
He had been subjected to aggravated assault, says the police's press spokesperson Mats Eriksson and continues:

Due to the severity of the injuries and the degree of violence, the incident is being investigated as aggravated assault. The boy – who was taken to hospital – is not believed to have sustained life-threatening injuries.
