A 14-year-old boy in Södertälje has died in hospital since he was seriously injured by a firework on New Year's Eve, according to the police.
A man in his 30s has been arrested. The case is classified as manslaughter.
The alarm to the police came in a few minutes after midnight on New Year's night.
