It continues to go in the right direction for the football player Edoardo Bove, who collapsed in Fiorentina's match against Inter on Sunday.
The 22-year-old Italian has left the intensive care unit at the hospital in Florence, announced the club's general manager Alessandro Ferrari on Wednesday evening.
He is in good hands and is doing well now, said Ferrari.
It had gone 16 minutes of Sunday's Serie A match when Bove collapsed on the pitch. The Fiorentina players reacted quickly and formed a ring to protect their teammate. Bove was taken to hospital and the match was interrupted.
He is said to have regained consciousness in the ambulance but was put in a medically induced coma at the hospital. The day after, the club announced that Bove was awake and able to speak.
It is not clear what caused the collapse.
