2–0 against title-chasing Arsenal. Bournemouth pulled off a major upset at home in Saturday evening's football match in the Premier League.
The visiting team Arsenal was decimated for large parts of the match after French defender William Saliba received a red card after half an hour's play.
But it wasn't until the end of the second half that Bournemouth broke London's team's zero. Substitutes Ryan Christie and Justin Kluivert, whose father is the former Dutch star Patrick, scored one goal each in the 70th and 79th minutes respectively.
With the win, Bournemouth rose to tenth place in the table, while Arsenal remains in third. On Sunday, league leaders Liverpool and second-placed and reigning league champions Manchester City can increase their lead at the top.
Liverpool will host Chelsea in a top clash and City will visit Wolverhampton.
