AIK were sloppy around the halfway line, just over halfway through the first half. Otto Rosengren won the ball and charged forward. The shot was sharp enough that national team goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt let the rebound go wide.
Sead Haksabanovic intercepted the ball and lifted it elegantly to... well, he'll have to tell it himself, the goalscorer, Erik Botheim:
"Fantastic cross by Sead. He knows I'm at the far post," said the Norwegian.
Fast, clean and an end to goalless matches against AIK at the national arena after three straight 0–0 Allsvenskan matches for the Skåne team. The victory was the first in Solna since 2017.
"It feels like all the matches between us have been 0–0, so it's really nice to win. A real warrior's effort. Not the best performance, but a hell of a job by everyone and it pays off in the end. I have pain everywhere and cramps all over my body, but that's how it should be after 90 minutes. It costs to win," Otto Rosengren said to TV4 Play.
AIK came out strong after the break, creating enough chances for an equalizer, but Malmö held firm, won with the only goal of the match and are now third in the table.
Kalmar's first victory
Elfsborg had the chance to move up to the top of the league but lost away to Kalmar FF, despite Frederik Ihler scoring the first goal of the match after just five minutes.
Instead, Kalmar grabbed all three points - their first win of the Allsvenskan return.
Teenager Charlie Rosenqvist, who turned 19 on Friday, scored his third goal of the season, after which Anthony Olusanya turned the match around in his first Allsvenskan start with a 2-1 goal a little into the second half.
"We have worked hard for it. An incredible feeling," Olusanya said to TV4 Play.
Sana equalized
Mjällby's Jacob Bergström decided the match against Halmstad at Strandvallen in Hällevik. Villiam Granath made it 2–0 late on. After two initial losses, the Swedish champions have picked up seven points.
Yiriyon Gideon looked to be in an offside position when he scored 1–0 for Degerfors. Örgryte's players protested, but in vain. Örgryte still took a point after Tobias Sana equalized from a penalty with five minutes left at Gamla Ullevi.
