Shots have been exchanged for the fourth night in a row between Indian and Pakistani military at the border in disputed Kashmir, according to India's military on Monday.

Initially, there are no reports of fatalities or injuries.

India accuses Pakistan of supporting "cross-border terrorism" after armed men last week killed 26 people in an attack near the popular tourist resort of Pahalgam in Indian Kashmir.

Pakistan denies involvement in the act.

After the attack, the countries have downgraded diplomatic relations. The UN calls for "maximum restraint" to enable problems to be solved through peaceful means.
