Canadian Szalay is visiting to talk about, among other things, the novel "Meat", which recently won him the Booker Prize - the English-speaking world's finest literary award.
The list of spring author visits to Kulturhuset Stadsteatern also includes Romanian Mircea Cartarescu, Édouard Louis (France), Kamel Daoud (Algeria), Niels Fredrik Dahl (Norway) and Antony Beevor (Great Britain), among others.
The spring literature program begins on January 14th and ends on June 2nd.
