A suspected dangerous object was found during the night in a villa area in Forsheda west of Värnamo.
Residents at an address here have found an object that they perceive could be dangerous, and we have not been able to rule it out either, says Erik Creutz, duty officer at the police.
At 07.30, the National Bomb Protection was still working to secure the object. The incident is classified as attempted general destruction.
The property was cordoned off and evacuated during the night. But there is no injured person and no imminent risk to life and health, says Olle Älveroth, press spokesperson at the police.
