Boltic is clear for play in the bandy elite series next season – after 14 years of absence. The venerable Karlstad club secured advancement to the top series via the 9–0 win against table two TB Västerås at home on Tingvalla ice stadium.
It felt like we punctured the match quickly. Now you only feel a pure bloody relief that we finally managed this, says team captain and veteran Erik Wallman to Värmlands Folkblad.
Wallman played for Boltic already when the club was relegated in 2011.
Boltic has won a total of nine Swedish Championship gold medals on the men's side – including seven in a row from 1979 to 1985 – and six Swedish Championship gold medals on the women's side.
