The verdict comes at the same time as Morales is planning to formally launch a campaign to become president again, despite not being allowed to run again.
The 65-year-old Morales has been wanted since October, suspected of human trafficking related to a relationship he allegedly had with a 15-year-old girl as president.
Evo Morales ruled the South American country for 13 years until 2019. He allegedly made the teenager pregnant in 2016, which means that he, according to Bolivian law, has committed rape. He has previously denied the allegations and claimed that it is a conspiracy to keep him out of politics.
