The mining company Boliden almost doubles the profit during the first quarter. The operating result landed on 3,062 million kronor, compared to 1,615 million the same quarter last year.
Sales revenues rose to 21.1 billion kronor, up from 18.5 billion kronor a year earlier.
"Higher metal prices and a stronger dollar contributed positively compared to the first quarter of 2024", the management writes in the quarterly report.
