This is the third year in a row that Boko Yout has received an award at the gala organized by the Swedish Independent Music Producers Association - but it is the first time the artist has taken home two awards.
Other award winners at the gala, which was held at Nalen in Stockholm, included The Mary Onettes (pop), Slowgold (singer-songwriter) and Blender (dance band).
The group Genom Natten was named newcomer of the year, while the classic Silence Records was named indie of the year.
