Olof Mellberg, former captain of the national team and a few years ago a hot candidate for the national team coaching job, will also take a place in SVT's World Cup squad. The 48-year-old will cover the Swedish national team on-site during the World Cup.
Bojan Djordjic, on the other hand, will be in the World Cup studio, where he will also be joined by former national team defender Behrang Safari.
It is also clear that Glenn Strömberg will return to SVT as an expert during this summer's World Championships.
The World Cup will be played from June 11 to July 19 in Mexico, the United States, and Canada.
