American aircraft manufacturer Boeing may sell as many as 500 aircraft to China, sources tell Bloomberg. According to the sources, the parties are currently discussing the details of the agreement.
The order is expected to be central to the parties' tariff negotiations, the news agency writes. The discussions about China making a major order for Boeing aircraft began as early as during Donald Trump's first term as president.
