The deceased, a woman in her 45s, is believed to have been found in connection to the suspect's residence.
The suspect, a man in his 65s, has been detained on probable cause suspected of murder for about a week. The suspected crime is believed to have been committed between September 1 and October 2 this year.
The woman appears to have lived with the man during the summer, says prosecutor Robert Beckard to P4 Väst.
