A deceased person was found outdoors in central Lysekil at 04.20 on Thursday morning.
The circumstances make it so that we cannot rule out a crime and therefore we have initiated a preliminary investigation regarding murder. We have cordoned off the area for a technical examination, says police spokesperson Fredrik Svedemyr.
At present, there is no suspect but there should be no danger to the public according to the police, who do not want to go into any further details about the incident or the victim.
