The police are investigating a suspected murder after a person was found dead in the Säveån river in Gothenburg.
According to the police, it was people from the public who raised the alarm, after they discovered a body floating in the water. The incident is classified for the time being as a suspected murder/manslaughter, the police state on their website.
The location where the body was found is cordoned off.
