Two bodies have been found in freezers in Turku in Finland. The two people died more than 30 years ago, reports the newspaper Nya Åland.

It is about a man and a woman who were both older and died a natural death in 1994 and 1995. The bodies were handed over to relatives, but were never buried, despite the deceased having a headstone on a cemetery.

A person, a relative of the two deceased, is suspected of disturbing the peace of the dead.

The suspected person has a way of thinking that deviates from the ordinary, says police officer Lasse Höysti to Yle.

How this came to be discovered after 30 years is not detailed, but someone made a police report. When the police looked closer at the circumstances, a decision was made to conduct a house search against a villa, where the two bodies were then found in freezers in an adjacent shed on the plot.
