According to the indictment, he attempted to perform vaginal intercourse with the woman, who did not participate voluntarily. The evidence includes interviews with several witnesses, as well as messages on mobile phones and a medical certificate with the forensic doctor's evaluation of the woman's injuries.
"I believe that his intention was to have intercourse with the woman who did not consent to it and I am bringing charges because I believe that the evidence is adequate", says prosecutor Rickard Finnberg, who is leading the preliminary investigation, in a press release.
Nordmark himself commits no crime, and when he was earlier this year suspected of crime, he said to NSD : "I want to be clear here and now that I have not committed the alleged act and am completely innocent".
The prosecutor will request closed doors during the court proceedings.
