Bob Geldof Criticizes Israel Over Gaza Starvation Claims

The musician and Live Aid organizer Bob Geldof is furious about Israel's actions in Gaza after a spokesperson for the Israeli government said that there is "no starvation caused by Israel" and that Hamas "starves its own people".

”They are lying. Netanyahu is lying, he is a liar. IDF is lying. They dangle food in front of starving, panic-stricken, exhausted mothers” says Geldof in an interview in ”Sunday morning with Trevor Phillips” on SkyNews.

"Then they are shot completely mercilessly", he continues.

He also accuses Israel of censoring news flows in the country and that the Israeli people would not allow what is happening if they knew about it.

He urged Israelis to protest by "sitting in your cars, filling the cars with food and driving through the border and letting your own army stop you".

Bob Geldof was one of the initiators of Band Aid and the song "Do they know it's christmas?" which collected money for the starving in Ethiopia in 1984.

He has also protested against Brexit and returned an Irish honorary award because it had also been awarded to Burma's criticized leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
