The alarm about the accident came in on Saturday morning.
"A passing boat called us," says Daniel Ståleby, sea rescue leader at the Maritime and Air Rescue Centre.
The Coast Guard, the Swedish Maritime Rescue Society and an ambulance were sent to the scene of the accident.
The 65-year-old man who was traveling in the boat was taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of his injuries is not known, but the police have interviewed him.
The accident occurred while the man was working and the incident is being investigated as a workplace accident, the police write on their website.
