The boat and the frozen woman were found by a fisherman who alerted the maritime rescue service at 3 pm on Thursday, which P4 Stockholm was the first to report. The woman has been heard.
The Coast Guard, the Swedish Maritime Rescue Society and the Swedish Maritime Administration carried out a major search operation for an additional person during the afternoon. During the evening, it turned into a police case with a missing person report.
We will continue to search, says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.
The bow was sticking up above the water surface when the alarm came in and the boat will now be salvaged.
There are no suspicions of a crime in connection with the incident.
