The boat and the chilled woman were found by a fisherman who alerted the marine rescue service, which P4 Stockholm was the first to report.
A major operation involving the Coast Guard, the Swedish Maritime Rescue Society and the Swedish Maritime Administration is still ongoing on Thursday afternoon as there are suspicions that another person was on board the boat.
A search is continuing for another person, but it has not been confirmed, says Björn Alverfeldt, press spokesperson at the Swedish Maritime Administration.
As of just before 6 p.m., the person had not been found.
