Two boats have collided in Norrtäljeviken on open water.
It's two recreational boats of smaller character that have collided, says Isac Östman, assistant rescue leader at the Air and Sea Rescue Center.
Two people were injured so badly that they had to be taken to hospital by ambulance, says Östman and adds that they were conscious when they were taken to hospital.
A total of five people are involved. Three people were lightly injured and did not need to be taken to hospital.
None of the affected ended up in the water.
A report of negligence in sea traffic will be filed, according to the police.
