Two more boats and a total of 228 migrants arrived in the UK on Friday, according to the Home Office.
Despite this, the number of migrants reaching the UK by sea has fallen by 41 percent in the first half of this year compared with the same period last year. A total of 12,439 migrants have arrived since the start of the year.
The British government signed a three-year agreement with France in April to stop migrants from crossing the Channel, including through increased police patrols along the French coast.
