Several people are believed to have been attacked by one or more sharks after a boat capsized off the coast of California in the United States. Eleven people are still missing.
Sixteen people, reportedly from Mexico, have been rescued from the water, according to the US Coast Guard.
"Several of the rescued people have serious injuries indicative of shark bites, and the Coast Guard has performed life-saving first aid," the authority wrote in a statement.
