IFK Göteborg is lagging behind in the Allsvenskan table.
And now comes the next nightmare message for "Blåvitt". The offensive playmaker Arbnor Mucolli has torn his cruciate ligament and is thus out for the rest of the season.
"It's a longer rehabilitation that awaits. With his professionalism and goal-oriented mindset, we are confident that Arbnor will get through this in the best possible way", says Kaj Leuther, physiotherapist at IFK Göteborg, to the club's website.
The injury occurred at the start of IFK Göteborg's Allsvenskan match against IFK Värnamo last weekend. Mucolli twisted his leg and was substituted immediately for further examinations.
On Wednesday, the news came that the 24-year-old will be out for a long time.
"When I got the news about what it was, it felt really tough and it's been tough days. But now I'm focused on the operation and fighting to come back strong again in 2025", says Mucolli to the club's website.
