The statue was discovered on Wednesday near the statue of Florence Nightingale and a memorial to the Crimean War, according to the BBC.

The name Banksy is written on the statue's base, but the shadowy street artist has so far not claimed the work on Instagram, something he does sometimes, though not always.

In 2004, Banksy created the statue “The Drinker” as a parody of Auguste Rodin’s “The Thinker.” “The Drinker” appeared on Shaftesbury Avenue in London, where it was quickly stolen by art activist Andy Link, who later demanded a ransom. Banksy never paid.
