The Region of Blekinge's boycott of the Marabou brand and other products from the food company Mondelez is terminated with immediate effect.
The boycott was a marking against the company having operations in Russia, but the Administrative Court has ruled that such markings are a state matter.
The Region of Blekinge made its boycott decision in June 2023, referring to Mondelez being blacklisted by Ukrainian authorities.
"We are following the verdict, but have not changed our stance in relation to not supporting Russia's war in Ukraine", says regional director Anders Johansson in a press release.
