Even Jared Kushner, US President Donald Trump's son-in-law, is said to have been on site according to Axios.

According to the news site, the two are said to have presented ideas regarding a post-war plan for Trump. Increased emergency aid to war-torn Gaza is also said to have been discussed during the meeting, where US and Israel's foreign ministers Marco Rubio and Gideon Saar also participated.

After his time as prime minister, Tony Blair acted as British Middle East envoy and worked, among other things, on developing a plan for a two-state solution, writes The Guardian. Kushner was Trump's advisor and special envoy to the Middle East during the president's first term, 2017-2021. He was then involved in negotiating historic agreements on normalization between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, the so-called Abraham agreements.

Prior to Wednesday's meeting, Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff stated that the war could be over within four months.

We will solve this one way or another, certainly before the end of the year, he said to Fox News.

When asked about the plans for Gaza after the war, he was more vague, but claimed that "people will see how robust and well-meaning they are".
