Stina Blackstenius left the national team squad for family reasons ahead of yesterday's 1-0 away win over Italy. Now the 30-year-old could be available for play when the World Cup qualifiers continue this weekend.
"Sometimes things happen outside of football that we cannot influence and then football can become secondary. We are extremely happy to have Stina back in the fold," says national team captain Tony Gustavsson on the association's website.
Blue and yellow remain in Italy before traveling to Serbia on Friday.
