BlackRock Investment Institute warns of interest-rate impacts from higher energy prices due to increasing supply disruptions in the Middle East - which means limited export opportunities for major oil-producing countries in the region.
The warning comes after 10-year market interest rates in countries such as Germany and France rose to their highest levels since the 2008 financial crisis.
UK market interest rates have also risen sharply this year, with 30-year yields at their highest levels since the 1990s.
