PodX acquires the Swedish podcast company Perfect Day, the company announces in a press release, which Breakit was the first to report on.
The company acquires 100 percent of Perfect Day from its sister company Pophouse Entertainment – which is owned by, among others, ABBA star Björn Ulvaeus.
Three years ago, Ulvaeus bought Perfect Day, which was founded by Hannah Widell and Amanda Schulman and produces podcasts such as "Alex och Sigge" and "Fredagspodden".
"We are proud and happy to welcome Perfect Day Media to the PodX group. Perfect Day Media has a unique position on the Nordic podcast market and excels in attracting top talent", says CEO Patrick Svensk in the press release.
The exact amount of the deal is unclear.
